Tonal and Head-To-Toe Hues – Fall Fashion
Let’s talk about Fall 2020 and what you should be on the look out for this season.
While runways and fashion week wasn’t the same this year there is no mistaking that one strong look is the tonal and head-to-toe hues (HTTH). We are talking about the art of mixing the same tone through texture, patterns and solids. Colors this year are red/burgundy (great color for everyone), navy (strong and vibrant for those cold months), all shades of grey (including herringbone), celery (maybe a hard color for some, but think shades of light green), off whites (think luxurious and warm), olive green (which is a personal favorite and a color I wear all year long whether it is “in fashion” or not hahaha), orange (which can be worn without looking like a pumpkin haha I have trouble with this color but you can do it right and look chic), black (because it is always a choice, we don’t need anyone to tell us otherwise amiright?), and finally, rich caramel tones!
So how do you pull off a HTTH outfit? Well, to be fair you’ve probably been doing all along … but if you are looking for some inspiration then look no further. The key is to feel inspired and then add your own twist. So let’s start with some of our favorite brands.
(Don’t forget, not every outfit has to be HTTH)
off white and oatmeal … you could also pair this jacket and button down shirt with an olive green trouser

one hue dress like this red one (that has a tiny print) is an easy work around … and who doesn’t love a bold red?

we just love this look. Not only is it HTTH (navy), but it mixes hardware with texture. This is a chic look but quite expensive so consider looking at more affordable shops (personal favorite: Express … neutral tweed Jacket for less than $150)

ok so this is “celery” … doesn’t look so bad right? While this has been paired with a grey short we would suggest putting this with a wide leg trouser (off white, tan, black), or slip dress / silk skirt

So this is a popular dress (and might even own one similar) so we would suggest adding a grey or burgundy: structured jacket, cardigan (long or short), and/or herringbone coat
